Van Hulzen Asset Management is seeking an experienced Financial Client Services Associate to join our elite team in our beautiful Town Center office in El Dorado Hills.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (potential for some flexibility)
Some weekend or after-hours work may be infrequently required for client events.
Job Overview:
The client service role is an integral part of the client experience. This role works closely with assigned advisors to support all aspects of their work. A client service team member must be able to listen, understand, and communicate with clients on their direct needs. Typically, this involves answering phones, responding to emails, executing client requests, and knowing who is best-suited to answer client requests. Client requests often involve initiating money movements, client account paperwork, preparing reports, supporting advisor tasks, and working with custodians to resolve issues.
This role will also blend in some administrative office duties; answering phones, distributing mail, and other office management tasks as needed.
The candidate who will excel in this role in someone who takes genuine satisfaction from supporting others and putting them in a position to succeed, who wants to be on a team and work interdependently with teammates, who naturally volunteers to help when something needs doing, who can learn new systems and processes quickly, and who feels a sense of accomplishment from completing a daily list of tasks.

- $60,000 - $65,000 depending on experience plus annual bonus

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar client service role preferred
- Microsoft Office expert and easily adaptable to new technology
- Working knowledge of Client Relationship Management (CRM) software is a huge plus
- Highly proficient skills with a PC operating system with general knowledge of office hardware and software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistently error free documents and transaction paperwork
- Outstanding communication skills both over the phone and via written communications
- A true team player with the ability to be a leader and a follower
- Clean criminal and regulatory record: able to pass background check
