Position
Rockefeller Capital Management is seeking a motivated individual with a proven track record as an investment banking Analyst to join its Investment Banking team. As part of the Investment Banking team, the Analyst will have the opportunity to work on a variety of strategic advisory assignments, including: sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions; divestitures and spin-off engagements; capital-raising; special committee engagements; and, more broadly, evaluation of strategic alternatives.
Responsibilities
The anticipated base salary for this role is $100,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Responsibilities
- Performing financial analysis and financial modeling, utilizing various valuation techniques
- Drafting of materials for client meetings
- Preparation of memoranda for internal and external use
- Conducting financial and other business-related research
- Coordinating complex and often time-sensitive processes
- Active involvement in client-facing situations
- Assistance in the execution of transactions
- Participation in talent development efforts, including recruiting and training
- 1-3 years of experience as an investment banking analyst preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Knowledge and experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and various financial databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to deliver high quality work product consistently
- Able to work accurately under stress and pressure to meet competing deadlines
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Assertiveness, initiative, strong work ethic, team focus
- Demonstrated and proven results
- Experience with valuation, modeling and forecasting
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
