Position Summary
Livingstone is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join our Chicago office. This is a near-term hiring need, and the ideal candidate will be available to join the team promptly. The Analyst will play an integral role across all stages of M&A, special situations, and financing transactions, working closely with senior bankers, clients, and counterparties. This position offers meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact domestic and international transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed financial models, including DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, and LBO analyses
- Conduct thorough industry and company research to support transaction execution and business development
- Prepare client deliverables such as confidential information presentations (CIPs), management presentations, and pitch materials
- Support deal execution, including due diligence, process management, and data room activities
- Interact with clients, investors, and other stakeholders throughout the deal process
Qualifications
- 2+ years of full-time experience in investment banking
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- A positive attitude and desire to learn how to do deals and grow professionally
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of professionalism, initiative, and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to begin in the near term is preferred
