The Comm Ops Prod Support II role will focus on activities that directly impact performance and stability of operational processes across Commercial Operations, specifically Business Banking Operations. This is a reporting role which is responsible for and working with extracting, analyzing large and complex data sets to support the implementation of business strategies, volumes and metrics.
Primary responsibilities include
- Driving performance through maturing metrics and management information Supporting operational readiness for change initiatives.
- Primary focus is on daily deliverable of routine and ad hoc requests with defined outputs, while at the same time developing knowledge of the broader context in which the Work is being performed.
- Ensures reporting of productivity, quality and other ad hoc requirements are in an accurate and timely manner.
- Extracts, prepares, and analyzes data while also resolving data issues and discrepancies for reporting.
- Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience to recognize inaccuracies and flawed data.
- Oversee the collection, integration of data from multiple sources
- Manage and optimize databases and data warehouses to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Monitor and optimize data storage, backup, and recovery processes.
- Identify and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
- Write and refine complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
- olid understanding of consumer banking/financial products and business processes
- Strong SQL knowledge is required.
- Scripting experience in SAS or python is a plus.
- Experience working in cloud environments, ideally AWS.
- Experience doing data discovery and analysis work with one or more commonly-used business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, SAS, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.
- Experience working with various operating systems (Windows) and database management systems (Redshift, Oracle, MS-SQL, etc).
- Ability to collaborate effectively, take initiative and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail, communicate clearly.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data, or a similar technical field preferred, but experience is mandatory requirement.
Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours per Week: 8:30am-5:00pm
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
