About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Capital Markets Middle Office Associate (FCM) in Capital Markets as a part of our Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Operations division. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

In This Role, You Will

  • Participate in research and resolution of issues including, profit and loss generation, profit and loss attribution and trade capture
  • Identify opportunities to resolve complex confirmation and related trade issues
  • Review tactical business challenges related to complex derivative products
  • Receive direction from manager and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of procedures
  • Provide information to managers and the Capital Markets Middle Office

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
  • Ability to communicate confidentially and professionally
  • Foundational Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of loans, securities, and derivative products
  • Sound analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
