Overview
Laseter Development Group (“LDG”) is a newly formed, vertically integrated Built-to-Rent (“BTR”) developer, one of the first of its kind in the sector. We partner with institutional capital on ground up joint venture developments to build best in class BTR communities. LDG is currently in the Atlanta and Nashville markets and is looking to expand to new markets across the Southeast in the coming years. With a strong track record of success and a commitment to delivering exceptional returns to our investors, we are seeking a talented and driven Analyst to join our dynamic and fast-growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed financial analysis, including cash flow projections, valuation models, and sensitivity analyses
  • Conduct market research and work with senior management to help identify target MSA’s and submarkets for investment and company expansion via a data driven analytical approach
  • Evaluate potential real estate acquisitions, developments, or dispositions based on strategic fit, risk-return profiles, and investment criteria
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (lenders, institutional capital partners) to gather relevant data and insights for investment decision-making
  • Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and investment committees
  • Work with the Acquisitions team to run early-stage deal screening and underwriting
  • Stay informed on market conditions, industry trends, and regulatory changes that could impact real estate investments
  • Work with senior management on business plans and other corporate level strategic initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with Major in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in real estate investment management, private equity, or investment banking is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, display a high degree of initiative, resourcefulness, and sound decision making, all with minimum oversight and while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • Hunger and willingness to be a team player and wear multiple hats within the organization when needed
