Key Responsibilities:
Client Advisory & Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary advisor for a portfolio of clients, leading all aspects of their financial planning and investment strategies
- Work with the financial planning team to develop and present comprehensive financial plans covering retirement, tax, estate, insurance, and charitable planning
- Conduct regular client meetings and maintain high-touch service to foster long-term relationships
- Oversee and monitor investment portfolios, providing guidance in line with clients’ risk tolerance and goals
- Collaborate with internal specialists and external professionals (e.g., CPAs, estate attorneys) to execute holistic financial strategies
- Delegate tasks to the operations team and ensure timely execution of all client-related actions
Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage and mentor Associate Advisors to ensure delivery of excellent client service
- Review financial plans and client meeting preparations completed by junior team members
- Lead training and professional development for Associate Advisors, helping them grow into future lead advisor roles
- Support internal process improvements and ensure compliance with firm and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3 or more years of experience in wealth management or financial planning with a strong track record of client retention
- 1 year or more of proven leadership or management experience in a team-based environment
- Deep knowledge of financial planning strategies, investment products, and regulatory guidelines
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in mentoring others
- Experience with CRM systems, financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, redtail, Monday.com, etc)
- FINRA Series 66 and Series 7 required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
