Job Overview -
As a Private Equity – Investment Professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of new investment strategy. You will take part in the entire spectrum of investment process, but especially concentrating on M&A transactions – originating deals, building trusted relationships with selling owners and intermediaries, and manage execution. This is a highly visible role, ideal for an experienced professional eager to lead in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with long-term platform potential.
You’ll be part of a lean, high-performing team with significant autonomy and exposure to senior partners and LPs.
Duties -
- Serve as one of the lead external representatives for all M&A activity
- Represent us with professionalism and strategic insight in all interactions
- Originate and evaluate acquisition targets through both brokers/bankers and proprietary channels
- Cultivate relationships with sellers, advisors, lenders and industry stakeholders
- Manage the full deal lifecycle: financial modeling, due diligence, IC preparation, and closing
- Partner with operators to develop post-close integration plans and value creation initiatives
- Build and manage a CRM pipeline and tracking system for deal flow and outreach
Skills -
Required:
- 3–5 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance or Corporate Development, ideally with buy-side execution exposure
- Proficiency in modeling, financial forecast analysis, deck building, etc.
- Proven experience sourcing and managing lower middle-market transactions ($5M–$50M EV)
- Strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills, and execution discipline
- Outstanding interpersonal skills — able to build trust with business owners, intermediaries, and advisors
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a lean, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and process management skills
Preferred:
- Background in professional services: AEC, Utilities, or Infrastructure related
- Experience managing external advisors and leading diligence workstreams
- Familiarity with private equity operating models and portfolio value creation
