Sidekick Partners is a venture capital firm with offices in New York City and Dallas–Fort Worth. Since 2013, we’ve invested in over 90 early-stage companies across the technology and consumer sectors. Past investments include category leaders such as Halo Top, Ring, Chronograph, DailyPay, Rebuy, and Touchland.

We are seeking a Corporate Finance Analyst to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the venture capital landscape—from fund management and investor reporting to portfolio support and audit coordination. This is a full-time position with a long-term preference for candidates based in DFW, though remote work is possible.

Responsibilities

  • Allocate fund expenses and management fees across entities using Excel and QuickBooks
  • Prepare investor invoices, capital account statements, and respond to LP inquiries
  • Manage treasury operations, including capital tracking and wire processing
  • Support GAAP audits through workpaper preparation and account reconciliations
  • Coordinate tax reporting and K-1 preparation with external advisors
  • Maintain and reconcile QuickBooks records across funds in line with GAAP and fund terms
  • Track capital calls, monitor investor commitments, and maintain contribution/distribution dashboards
  • Prepare quarterly financial statements and supporting workpapers
  • Leverage Carta, QuickBooks, Excel, and Google Workspace to streamline workflows and enhance reporting efficiency

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong interest in venture capital and fund operations
  • Background in accounting, corporate finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dependable
  • Comfortable working independently and handling confidential information with discretion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
