Position Summary:
As a Senior Portfolio Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Portfolio/Product Strategy Teams for an assigned region. Working with the Portfolio Director and New Product Commercialization, this position will assess our current portfolio and the energy category by capturing essential data on our current product offering to
identify opportunities to drive dollar share, net revenue growth, and profit for our business.
Essential Job Functions:
- Drive initial process of gathering performance data for existing portfolio in the assigned region. Lead the creation of competitive intelligence updates on a quarterly basis. Execute special projects or assignments as directed by the Company. Manages updates to portfolio selling materials published to intranet site
- Assist leadership, New Product Commercialization, and Innovation teams. Provide support for innovation launch performance and post-mortem analysis.
- Gathers business intelligence to help position new products in the market, fill gaps and meet the competition.
- Diagnose market opportunities, address competitive gaps, and support key aspects of the innovation planning process.
- Articulate and present compelling presentations at selected high-level meetings, regional sales meeting and as needed throughout the year both internally and externally.
- Understands the requirements and landscape of the relevant bottling system, retailers and consumers for placement of new products. Generate and provide customized content for Bottler facing selling materials in alignment with strategic priorities.
- Provides innovation sell-in support for respective teams during critical Joint Business Planning months. Develop customized analysis and reporting tools for short & long-term strategic initiatives. Evaluate business casuals and conduct regular reviews with Brand leads to identify immediate and long-term areas of opportunity and growth within the existing portfolio for continued optimization.
- Represent Company and the brands effectively to all constituencies, maintaining at all times a professional code of conduct in support of this.
Position Requirements:
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of- -Finance, Business, Economics, or related field of study.
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), beverage industry
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in managing very large project portfolios with a breath of projects
- Computer Skills Desired: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
- Requires experience with data sources i.e. Nielsen, Mintel, Competitive Intel
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Requires knack for innovation, trends, new news and ability to keep up with moving times. Strong verbal and written communications skills and presentation skills effective across a broad range of audiences. Excellent at managing time, expenses and priorities
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Base Salary Range: $122,100 - $185,000
