At CIFC, our Structured Credit Investments Team is a high-velocity CLO investing and trading platform with unmatched market access, a leading counterparty in both the primary and secondary CLO markets. This role offers a rare opportunity to gain deep exposure to deal flow, market dynamics, and investment strategy in one of the most dynamic corners of the credit markets.


As a CLO Investing Analyst, you’ll play a key supporting role across the investment process—

working closely with senior team members on deal analysis, market monitoring, and trade

execution. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn, contribute meaningfully from day one, and grow into a future investment decision-maker.


Experience

  • 1–4 years of experience in CLO investing, banking, analytics, or operations

  • Strong understanding of CLO structures and cash flow modeling

  • Familiarity with tools such as Intex, Bloomberg, Excel, or Python is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset

  • A passion for markets and a desire to grow into a long-term investment role


Job Description

  • Engage in Active Markets: Work alongside a high-velocity CLO investing and trading team that interacts daily with a broad network of counterparties, gaining exposure to a wide range of CLO deals and market conditions.

  • Analyze and Execute: Assist in evaluating CLO structures, collateral performance, and market trends to support investment ideas and trade execution.

  • Adapt and Learn: Operate in a dynamic environment where market conditions shift rapidly and decisions are made in real time—offering a steep learning curve and exposure to agile investment strategy.

  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with credit analysts, portfolio managers, operations, finance, and IT to enhance data workflows, support investment decisions, and optimize analytics across the platform.

  • Stay Market-Connected: Maintain direct contact with broker-dealers and counterparties to monitor deal pipelines and market sentiment.

  • Represent CIFC: Participate in industry events and client meetings to build your network and deepen your market understanding.

  • Communicate and Report: Help prepare daily investment materials, fund updates, and investor communications.


This full-time position is located in New York City. Hybrid Schedule (Monday -Thursday in office; Friday Remote)
