Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced high yield credit analyst to support the HY healthcare desk strategy team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of credit analysis and high yield bond markets. Interest and experience in the healthcare sector preferred but not an exclusive requirement. This role puts emphasis on identifying investment opportunities and providing actionable insights for both external buyside client communications and internal desk risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research on healthcare companies, including financial modeling & analysis, industry trends, and regulatory impacts.
- Investment Strategy: Develop and implement high yield bond investment strategies.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage high yield bond portfolios, ensuring alignment with investment objectives and risk tolerance.
- Market Insights: Provide regular market updates, forecasts, and actionable insights to clients and internal teams.
- Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their investment goals and provide customized solutions.
- Desk Risk Management: Work with lead healthcare strategist and trader to identify actionable situations and mitigate risks associated with investment opportunities
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on investment performance and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in high yield bond analysis and strategy, with a focus on the healthcare sector.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, excellent communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of credit analysis and high yield bond markets. Preference for prior healthcare experience.
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $120,000 - $140,000.
