THE ROLE
The primary focus of our Summer Investing Analyst program is to gain experience assessing potential investment opportunities for our client’s fund. This entails proactively analyzing industries and individual companies, identifying key trends and risks, and highlighting attractive areas for investment. As deal processes “go live,” the Summer Analysts will play a critical role on the deal team in assisting with various components of the deal process, including building and analyzing financial models, participating in on-site company visits, and conducting diligence meetings with business executives.
Analysts are an integral part of the deal teams. Our client strongly believes in giving all team members ownership and responsibility early on so that they can maximize their learning and be ready to meaningfully contribute to the team. The aim is for Analysts to matriculate into full-time Investing roles at the firm.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Participate in a comprehensive 1-week onboarding program
- Learn how to prepare technical elements of deal processes, including: financial statement analysis, financial modeling, transaction structuring, and financial and operational due diligence
- Present deal opportunities + dynamics to deal teams and Partners
- Assist with the negotiation of deal structures and dynamics
- Meet with and present to company Management Teams
- Participate in a variety of firm-wide activities, including: cross-functional team social events, unique PeopleFirst development workshops, and unparalleled mentorship opportunities within the firm

QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Class of 2028 (or Winter 2027) undergraduates [REQUIRED]
- Demonstrated track record of academic excellence and/or extracurriculars (GPA 3.5+)
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- A curious mindset and desire to learn
- A desire to problem-solve and drive solutions
- Low ego and the ability to take feedback
- Excitement to work with and learn from teams
COMPENSATION
Base pay range for this role is expected to be between $8,000–$10,000 per month of the program. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise and the applicant's skill set.
