The Advisory Team is responsible for supporting the delivery of investment advice and implementation (including tools and programs) for Private Banking and Wealth clients. The Advisory Specialist role requires an individual who has a background in investments, asset allocation as well as a strong command of applications and tools for investment advisory solutions. These applications are critical for analyzing portfolio risk, constructing meaningful proposals, delivering investment portfolios and client reporting.

As our Advisory Specialist-Sales Enablement you will:

  • Contribute to the commercialization of Advisory programs by helping Advisors achieve net new money goals and asset retention
  • Liaise with Portfolio Managers and CIO teams regarding model portfolios and portfolios implementation
  • Coordinate with long-only and alternative manager research teams and product specialists to identify suitable investment implementation ideas
  • Collaborate with Global Advisory team in delivering investment content, client proposals and training and be present at local and global governance committees and seek necessary approvals
  • Ensure the global investment journey model is implemented locally and Maintain advisory-related procedures and documentation
  • Establish a roadmap and key deliverables of the Advisory proposition in terms of product enhancements
  • Identify use cases, improvements, and deficiencies in the investment journey, i.e. be the voice of the internal and external clients
  • Engage with stakeholders such as Front Office, Sales Supervision, Governance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and IT
  • Manage key vendor platform relationships that support the Advisory proposition
  • Ensure the smooth operation of Advisory platforms and proposition within a robust risk & control framework

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $175,000.00 and $225,000.00 The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • 5-10 years of experience in Asset Management or Wealth Management
  • Strong knowledge of investments, asset allocation and portfolio construction
  • Prior experience with wealth management platforms
  • Product Management experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, leadership and presentation skills
  • Series 7 and Series 66 required (or 63 and 65)
  • MBA or CFA preferred
