As the Client Implementation Manager, you will:
Lead a team that is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of client and product events at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) across multiple global regions as well as:
Serve as subject matter expert for Operations and business processes for SSGA funds and client accounts managed at the SSGA investment center in Stamford, Connecticut
Maintain client and fund master while governing data to ensure completeness and accuracy across multiple platforms (Aladdin, GPA, MCH, Stamford Data Warehouse and CHAMP)
Global owner of the Aladdin onboarding and portfolio setup, terminations, amendments and approval processes
Serve as business owner and data steward for CHAMP, which entails optimizing processes to improve data quality, institute business process rules and provide priorities for enhancements based on cost analysis
Facilitate critical data updates and system enhancements needed to deliver automated reporting solutions for the investment teams across multiple Asset Classes (Equity, Fixed Income and OCIO)
Oversight of onboarding, offboarding and client change events for SSGA Stamford managed business
Archer Control owner for CHAMP and GPA; identify, establish and enforce controls specific to teams processes within these applications. Define roles and responsibilities and document / maintain procedures
Represent Client Implementation in organizational management meetings involving Governance, Initiatives and Workflow improvements
Participate in or lead projects aimed at continually improving the firm’s overall business processes and onboarding tools
Engage the organization ensuring that all appropriate parties and functional groups are informed, involved, and in agreement with asset structuring processes
This includes the evaluation of the complexity, fund structures, special requirements, and risks associated with each event
Work with Relationship Managers, Product Development and Investment teams to clearly articulate event policy requirements and solicit input as needed
Make adjustments to plan and execution, depending on external needs and internal business policies and standards
Partner with Relationship Managers to drive the wing-to-wing process of on-boarding new Stamford managed clients and products, providing seamless transition for the client and internal business partners
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
Advanced knowledge of all aspects of CHAMP and Aladdin onboarding and data management processes
Minimum 15 years’ experience in the investment management field with specific focus on investment operations and financial service experience
Deep understanding of complex investment issues, processes and vehicles and how these relate to client events
Strong desire to continuously improve industry and investment knowledge
Strong project management skills
Excellent interpersonal, time management and execution skills such as prioritization and multi-tasking under time constraints
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, internal teams, consultants custodians and transition managers, and optimally interact with all levels of an organization
Ability to take a leadership role in the decision-making process and bringing parties to a consensus
Strong business discernment, including the ability to synthesize complex issues and optimally balance substantial objectives
Strong analytical skills and the ability of understanding client objectives and developing effective and appropriate solutions to meet those objectives
Consistent track record of successfully leading client events
Excellent written & verbal communications and presentation skills
Great leader with a positive attitude
Bachelor’s Degree required, with a CFA/MBA or equivalent experience preferred

Salary Range:
$120,000 - $195,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
