Job Summary:

As a Loan Origination Specialist IV within JPMorgan Chase, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely responses to our customers through effective written and verbal communication. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing our profitability by nurturing and strengthening our customer relationships. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Client, Relationship Managers, and Underwriters to document and process Equipment Finance transactions. Your ability to manage multiple tasks, utilize internal resources effectively, and maintain meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in this role. Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with Sales, Client, Relationship Managers and Underwriters to document and book Equipment Finance transactions
  • Process the documentation process for equipment finance loan/lease transactions in partnership with the Document Support Specialist
  • Engages with internal and external clients to manage expectations and gather necessary items for closing.
  • Prepares and sends documentation packages.
  • Research Sales and PPT tax items
  • Ensures credit and asset conditions are met in compliance with guidelines.
  • Works with Internal and External Legal counsel as needed for closing requirements.
  • Prepares funding review packages
  • Works on projects as needed to improve current processes and procedures.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of Loan Documentation or doc creation experience
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and leverage internal resources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and strong process orientation
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work load
  • Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel Skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude and desire to be part of a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of basic accounting processes and procedures
  • Professional phone etiquette skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years’ experience in Commercial Banking financial services
  • Paralegal certificate or experience
  • Equipment finance\equipment leasing experience
  • HotDocs\LeasePak experience a plus
