Overview
What You’ll Do
- Leads and oversees the execution of all U.S. equity new issue transactions including overseeing committee review, liability adjudication and liaising with external transaction partners
- Leads and oversees the preparation of all U.S. equity capital markets elements related to client presentations
- Source of all new issue related communications with global institutional equities (i.e., sales and trading)
- Development and initiation of equity capital markets ideas
- Support and coverage of external client relationships
- An observer and participant on the Equity Commitment Committee
- Oversight and mentorship of junior team members
- Assistance with various internal projects to support the investigation and development/enhancement of new business activities and initiatives
What You’ll Bring
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Preferably at least 6 years of Equity Capital Markets or Investment Banking experience in the Power & Utilities or REIT space
- The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to perform effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work hard, including extended hours.
- Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills are necessary for the successful applicant.
