Job Duties
- Prepare, coordinate, and document various financial analysis projects
- Analyze financial data and develop financial models
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reports and dashboards
- Provide analytical support for both historical performance reviews and forward-looking business initiatives
- Assist in the preparation of forecasts and analysis of financial trends
- Support the preparation and distribution of weekly and monthly financial reporting packages
- Contribute to the month-end close process, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Analyze financial transactions and ensure accurate and timely posting to the general ledger
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in accordance with company policies
- Support external audits by preparing documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or bookkeeping
- Proven experience with financial modeling and data analysis
- Familiarity with general accounting practices and reporting processes
Skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc.)
- Strong financial modeling abilities
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with financial systems and data gathering tools
- Solid understanding of general ledger functions and journal entry preparation
