What You'll Do
- Lead and grow a portfolio of high-value global investment banking accounts, consistently exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Build strategic, C-level relationships and become a trusted advisor to clients across capital markets, energy finance, and M&A teams.
- Craft and execute multi-layered sales strategies tailored to each account—expanding existing business and unlocking new revenue streams.
- Collaborate across product, marketing, and research teams to align client needs with Wood Mackenzie’s full suite of solutions.
- Navigate and lead complex negotiations in a matrix environment with both internal stakeholders and senior external decision-makers.
- Maintain a robust, transparent sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and strong CRM hygiene.
What You Bring
- 5–7+ years of high-performance B2B sales experience in capital markets, financial services, or data & analytics—subscription sales preferred.
- A track record of consistently beating quota and frequent six-figure+ deal execution.
- Deep understanding of investment banking workflows and the capital markets-energy sector intersection.
- Strategic relationship builder with an existing senior network (especially across M&A, ECM, DCM, or energy finance teams).
- Exceptional communicator and persuasive negotiator who thrives in a high-stakes environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
