KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for providing world class support to numerous teams across the firm, including the trading desk, investor relations, finance and fund management teams across BCC investment platforms
- Ensure the trading desk has the most up-to-date investment holdings data to buy or sell assets externally
- Daily monitoring and processing of portfolio activity including corporate bond activity, internal & external CLO events, asset-backed security transactions, mortgage-backed security transactions, and equity activities.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to provide robust support across the firm
- Build, manage, and enhance relationships with other internal teams and external partners
- Gain exposure to a world renown asset management firm and how it executes its day-to-day operations
DESIRED BACKGROUND/EDUCATION
- 1-2 years of fixed income experience preferred
- Exposure to any of the following asset classes preferred - bonds, ABS, MBS, CLO paper, preferred equity
- Exposure to the portfolio accounting system Advent Geneva preferred
- Proficiency in Bloomberg preferred
- Exposure to syndicated and/or private credit bank loans a plus
- Proficiency in Excel
- 3.3 GPA or higher

- Ability to read and decipher complex legal documents
