Our client is a software focused investment bank that was founded in early 2010s with over $40bn in total completed transactions. They focus on providing strategic advisory services to growth-stage and middle-market companies. With a particular emphasis on B2B software sub sectors such as healthcare IT and healthcare services sectors, the firm has developed a strong reputation for delivering high-impact M&A advisory and capital raising solutions. Their approach is meticulous and targeted, having closed more than 90% of the deals they are mandated on.


Position Overview:

The firm is seeking a high-performing Investment Banking Associate to join its growing team, with a specific focus Healthcare IT advisory. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in executing complex transactions and working closely with senior bankers and clients across strategic M&A and private capital engagements. You will gain deep exposure to the evolving landscape of healthcare technology while honing your transaction execution and advisory skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of M&A and capital raise transactions within healthcare IT and B2B software

  • Develop and refine complex financial models, valuations (DCF, precedent transactions, comps), and client-ready materials

  • Conduct detailed industry, market, and company research to support strategic insights and deal positioning

  • Prepare and review pitch materials, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), and management presentations

  • Support due diligence processes and coordinate communication between clients, buyers, investors, and other advisors

  • Act as a key point of contact for client interactions and internal deal team communications


Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in investment banking, preferably with exposure to healthcare IT and broader technology sectors, mainly within software

  • Strong transaction experience in M&A (sell-side or buy-side) and/or private placements

  • Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not required)
