Job Summary:
Everest Global, Ltd. is seeking to add an Analyst, Investment Operations to the Investment Team, headquartered in Warren, New Jersey.
The Operations / Cash Management Analyst will support both the team’s internally-managed portfolios as well as support certain responsibilities for externally-managed portfolios and investments. The Analyst must be comfortable communicating with various external parties including custodians, counterparties, external investment managers, and other vendors. This role will focus on managing collateral and cash operations, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of transactions, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, collateral management, and cash operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Collateral Management
    • Monitor and manage collateral positions to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with internal and external requirements.
    • Perform daily collateral reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
    • Coordinate with counterparties to facilitate collateral movements and settlements.
    • Maintain and update collateral management files.
  • Controls
    • Review control process documentation as necessary
    • Assist in interactions with Internal Audit and External Audit, and for any requests for information from those two departments.
    • Assist with KYC requests.
  • Data Management
    • Support data integrity processes as needed
  • Cash Management
    • Oversee daily cash operations, including cash forecasting, liquidity management, and cash reconciliations.
    • Ensure cash is available in trading accounts for settlements and request cash transfers as needed.
Work Experience and Qualifications:
  • Well organized, diligent, and self-motivated
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field of study
  • Open to recent college grads or 1-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Be familiar with the full lifecycle of a trade
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving approach
  • Positive attitude, open to learning, and ability to contribute in a ‘team-first’ atmosphere
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills preferred
For NJ Only: The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
