Client Service Associate

The Fairman Group LLC, the Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) division of Fairman Group Family Office dba Fairman Financial, located in Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania, is seeking to add a member to our Financial Planning and Investment Advisory Services group. This is an open position that we are seeking to fill immediately. This position provides an opportunity for a motivated employee to progress within the financial services industry and develop professional competencies within the Client Service subset of our Operations Group. This role includes account maintenance, facilitating cash and asset transfers, participating in trade processing, supporting client requests, and assisting with operational improvement initiatives. Currently, the office is in a hybrid environment.

The Fairman Group LLC is a fee-only, fiduciary investment advisory firm. In addition to our investment advisory services, we also provide individuals with comprehensive wealth and retirement planning. The broader firm, Fairman Financial, provides services such as tax planning and compliance, estate planning, and personal accounting services to over 300 families. We are currently looking for a motivated, positive, exceptionally talented individual to join our rapidly growing organization. This is a full-time, salaried position with annual bonus potential. Job Duties:

  • Support the back-office of our Advisory group through preparation and processing of custodial paperwork and trade execution
  • Communicate with custodians, service providers, and other advisors
  • Communicate in writing, virtually, or in person with clients to assist with account opening, maintenance, transfers, and other requests
  • Comply with file maintenance and retention requirements to meet industry regulated compliance standards
  • Participate in various improvement initiatives within the overall Operations Group

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in client service or operations
  • Ability to obtain NASAA Series 65 license or comparable licensing within 6 months of employment
  • Strong general technology and software skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in teams in a small company environment
