Our client, a respected wealth management firm, is seeking a licensed and experienced financial professional to continue building a client-facing financial planning practice.

The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in the financial advisory, investment, or wealth management space, with a strong understanding of comprehensive planning and a desire to grow a business within an established support system.

This is a client development and relationship management opportunity, not a traditional salaried role. It’s designed for professionals who want to take greater ownership over their practice with the backing of a major firm, including infrastructure, mentorship, and support.

The role of a financial advisor:

  • Build and deepen relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Guide clients through financial planning and goal-setting
  • Create and present comprehensive financial plans
  • Provide ongoing education and personalized financial advice
  • Proactively manage and update client strategies as life and market conditions evolve
  • Operate and grow your own practice with firm-provided resources
  • Engage in marketing, networking, and community involvement

Areas of financial planning include:

  • Cash flow, savings, and debt reduction strategies
  • Investment and portfolio design
  • Retirement accumulation and income distribution strategies
  • Insurance planning (life, disability, LTC)
  • Estate and legacy planning
  • Tax-aware planning
  • Major purchases and funding goals

Qualifications:

  • experience in financial services, wealth management, or financial planning, or a financial planning major (required)
  • Active securities and/or insurance licenses
  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort in a client-facing advisory role
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow a business
  • Willingness to leverage firm-provided infrastructure and mentorship

Compensation & Support:

This is not a base-salary role; compensation is tied to client relationships, revenue growth, and business development. However, advisors will have access to:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
