WHAT YOU'LL DO

Provides financial planning and analysis to support the Marketing department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial insights, optimizing profitability, and supporting strategic decision-making. This position requires a blend of financial expertise, data analysis, and an understanding of restaurant operations. The position will be focused on providing analytical support to inform various marketing, menu and promotional strategies.

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets, including sales trends and profitability metrics.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as menu mix, promotional analysis and traffic trends.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with key business partners in marketing, menu strategy and operations.
  • Variance Analysis: Conduct weekly/monthly variance analysis comparing actual performance to budgets/forecasts, providing actionable insights
  • Promotional Impact: Evaluate promotional tactics to drive optimal strategies on types of promotions, spend on promotions and channels to utilize promotions.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support leadership with custom financial analyses, scenario planning, and investment decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to financial reporting tools, dashboards, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or related field and 3-5 years accounting or finance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to quickly create financial models
  • Experience with BI Tools, preferably Tableau
  • Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
  • Comfortable presenting to senior leadership, including C-suite
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Curious mind that leads to wanting to understand the “Why” behind financial results
  • Desire to automate routine work and focus on providing analysis and insights
  • Self-starter that can identify and anticipate the needs of the business
  • SQL experience preferred
  • Restaurant industry experience preferred
